ROUND 12 WSBK/WSS CHAMPIONSHIP – ROMAN RAMOS PROMINENT FIGURE IN JEREZ

Jerez de la Frontera has highlighted the technical growth of the Kawasaki ZX10R developed by Go Eleven technicians, and Roman Ramos reduced the gap that separates him from the podium, passing under the checkered flag with a gap from the first very short. the level of the class is very high and they are all very close, but see us in standings in front of BMW, Aprilia and even official Ducati, give luster and merit to all guys who work in Go Eleven, only private team to settle constantly among the officers.
Roman started well in both races, in manche 1 the battle is between De Angeli, Brookes and Savadori but on the end manages to get the better on the rider revelation of the year (Savadori), while in manche 2, starting from the 15 position, make a nice comeback that bring him to fight and win the duel with Reiterberger, Brooks and David Giuliano.
In Supersport Gamarino and Jezek have fought in positions that not compete with them and even to the team, but the miss of front grip for Christian and rear grip for Ondra forces them to go to Qatar with the redemption obligation. Overall, a thrilling weekend also for the COMI guests attending the event.

Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK Race 1; 12th)“I’m happy for the result of the race, I had a bad start but I was able to recover up to the 12th position. I like much this track and I have great memories here, where I won a lot in the past, and I’m sorry now only to have lost the sprint with De Angelis, but its official Aprilia has more acceleration than ours and I could not do much.”

Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK Race 2; 11th): I have started well and I reached the top ten, but on the final Savadori passedme, his Aprilia was too fast and could not do anything to defend myself. I am much happy for the result, here in my home race I wanted do a good race for my fans that I hope have enjoyed. Now I want to do well in Qatar and I will put all my strength to end the season in the top ten.”

Christian Gamarino 11 (WSS; 16th): “From Friday morning I have not feeling with the front, I tried to push but I am also crashed, in the race in the early laps I felt good and thought I could do a good race, but after a few laps the problem came out again, and rather than making another crash I preferred to finish the race.”

Ondrej Jezek 69 (WSS; 18th): “The team has worked so hard to give me a bike that would give me the right feeling and succeeded, in the race I felt good and I also enjoyed riding, I’m happy because my times were good, for the top ten, but I started too far
behind and the decline of the grip of the rear tire has made life difficult for me.”

Denis Sacchetti (Team Manager): “Roman at his home gave riding lessons to all, was a hammer in the race and made no mistakes. For us to get ahead of factory bikes is a big result, an unexpected surprise, and this is also merit of the team, the chronometric
time so close to the world champion is a good satisfaction for the Go Eleven technicians who have worked all year with professionalism and so much passion. We are therefore pleased with the increase of performance obtained in a championship of such a high level! The Supersport is going through a difficult time, both Jezek that Gamarino manage to be effective in alternate moments, so we fail to concretize. Overall though we go home happy.”
