The two WorldTour races Driedaagse Brugge-De Panne and Gent-Wevelgem had confirmed the growth of Elisa Balsamo, the Italian champion Marta Cavalli and Maria Giulia Confalonieri. The good performance of Balsamo in De Panne (sixth place) earned her the nomination of first Italian at the finish of the Belgian classic, where, even Cavalli (thirteenth) was added to the speed of the first group.
“For me there was two races in which the girls were up to the situation, where so far they have gone better, and the results are also a breath of fresh air in view of the upcoming events,” said sporting director Davide Arzeni. Young Girls have good results in Macherio
