ROUND 3 WSBK/WSS CHAMPIONSHIP – GO ELEVEN AT THE THIRD PLACE IN THE WORLD TEAM STANDING. WELCOME GUEST THE COMI DELEGATION.

Roman aragon 2

In Spain, Go Eleven breathe air of home, things that bind this land to the Italian team are so many. The public, and fans came to cheer their idol, Roman Ramos, joined us as one big family that push his idol higher and higher. Next to us in the race weekend was also a COMI delegation, hosted by the team and excited about the work done so on in the season. Roman has not lived up to expectations, giving maximum as always, and without making any mistakes, is true, here the goal and the hope was to finish both races in the top 8, but this year ‘s level of the championship is very high, maybe the highest ever in World superbike, we have nobles rivals and today  Roman has took the best possible result, halving the total race time compared to 2015 in race 1, and improving it of 8 seconds in race 2. The dreams of glory of our Gamarino who started from 5th position on the grid were shattered at the 6th lap, when a curb has bent the front wheel and triggered a bounce during the enter of the curve which limited him, and had to settle. eagerly awaited among the leaders here at Aragon was also Ondrej Jezek, but He has had to contend with a physical problem, from Friday he have suffered a problem of balance, dizziness, even on the bike, and it was brave to want to run this race, has not given up, but he gritted his teeth bringing important points for the team, now third in the world team standings.

Roman Ramos 40  (WSBK Race 1; 12th): I’m happy of this weekend, we worked well in testing but still we are not fast in Superpole, my feeling with the bike is very good, everything works fine, but on the long straight we were missing a bit of engine than the official bikes. I started well and kept good pace, but then I ended too soon the rear tire and I had to give up some positions.   Roman Ramos 40  (WSBK Race 2; 12th): In both races we did our best, we are even closer to the riders at the front and the battle with the two official Aprilia and official bmw made me fun a lot. I go to home with a smile, happy for the work of the team and confident that at the next race we will arrive even better..

Christian Gamarino 11 (WSS; 10th): I am saddened for the race, at first I was sure that I could stay with the front group, then came out a big vibration at the enter of the curves that has not allowed me to be fast …..it is a shame, but in Superpole we have shown tht we can be as fast as the firsts! We will ransom in Assen.

Ondrej Jezek  69 (WSS; 14th): It was really difficult weekend for me. I was struggling with the head dizziness since Wednesday. The situation was the worst during the Saturday’s superpole. That’s why I’ve started from the 7th row. On Sunday my condition improved so I was able to do the race. My start was average but I gained some positions in the first corner. Than I was closing the gap to the group for the 9th place. I was sure that I could overtake all of them and gain another top ten. But today we struggled with the low speed of our bike, so it was impossible to overtake the riders in the group. I’m disappointed from this weekend but that’s racing. I am still in touch with the 6th overall place. All team will try our best to reach more points from the next races.

Denis Sacchetti (Team Manager): This championship has real fans of motorsport, we have not an audience from “soap opera” but of true motorcycle enthusiasts who likes to breathe the burnt petrol, hear the cries of the exhausts and see the black commas on asphalt, this makes us unique. The public can appreciate the genuineness of this championship! In SBK we are struggling with officer teams and pilots from the motogp, no one would ever have expected to only at the second year of onset for a private and emerging team. We are happy to receive so many compliments but this does not make us rest on the laurels but stimulates us to work even more and even better, for us is important to be a team that knows how to ensure certain values to the manufacturer, and to its sponsors. In Supersport we are a top team, and the ranking is clear, we are at the third place overall, in front of Honda factory team and a few lengths from MV Agusta, there is no more to say! Gamarino was unfortunate, but was good to finish the race in an excellent position, so congratulations to him. He love Assen, so…. I am sorry for Jezek, the health comes first of all, and the result has been compromised and affected by this, is really difficult to ride with the dizziness! See you at Assen in 15 days!                                                    Team Go Eleven
