Complicated and tremendously charming, Assen, (the Cathedral of speed), once again hosted uncertain races where speed, strategy and risk were the qualities dictated by the riders for obtein the final result.

Superbike; first time that the team and the rider have tried this bike on wet conditions, the base is good but can be improved. Unfortunately, a broken wire of the front speed sensor has compromised the Superpole. electronic problems that have occurred up to 20 seconds from the start of race one when the great work of the team has defeated the misfortune and be able to line up the bike on the grid. Roman has been SuperRoman, comeback from 18th to 9th position, a champion’s race which he is, finally see us in the top ten. The rain that fell before the start of race 2 and the sun comes out, to dry asphalt, makes uncertain the outcome of the second manche, with a battle for victory open to any solution to the last. Roman, started with rain tires is not very fast in the first part of the race but choose the right time to stop for put intermediate tires, anticipating all. Here the comeback starts and from 22 ° position obtain a 12th place, as beautiful as unexpected.

Supersport; all the components for a drama were present; sun, cold, a great start, the rain, a hail storm, an interrupted race, a crash in entering at the pits, the frantic mechanics in repairing a damaged bike and all finished off with a sprint race of 6 laps in the wet including a battle at the last lap which had as leitmotiv “sweat blood”. Jezek fast in both wet and dry conditions was 7th on the grid. Before the red flag, on the dry, was fighting for 6th place, then hail, the fall in the pits and the re-start in wet conditions have shuffled the cards and found himself far on the back, but as the end of a thriller surpasses 5 riders on the last lap and obtain a 9th place, that after all, is almost a victory. Gamarino from little cat has become little fish, he never loved the wet but holland caused to him a jump of quality. In Superpole has been slowed by the chattering, starting 17th in this Supersport is certainly not easy in the first fraction the desire to recover he did make a mistake, but on the wet he has quickly understood the conditions of the track and comeback up until the 10 th position, is worth gold! Go Eleven conquers 2nd place overall in the world team standings!

Roman Ramos 40  (WSBK Race 1; 9th): Center the right setting has been very hard, the bike wheeling and kept not the line well, but I am happy because this is the best result of the season. If I think that, up to 1 minute before the closure of the pit lane could also not leaving for an electrical problem … but the team was able to do the miracle.

Roman Ramos 40  (WSBK Race 2; 12th): In the wet I did not go very well, but I thought to enter in the pit and change tires first of all, right strategy, which helped me to overcome many riders and make another important placement. I’m happy because the team has worked very hard to always give me a perfect bike, the results are not bad, but at Imola, home of my team, I want to do more.

Christian Gamarino 11 (WSS; 10th): It was a difficult race, in the first part with a dry track i was not as fast as I wanted and I lost the front group for a forehand that made me lose a lot of time. In the second part I have taken faster the feeling with the track conditions and in just 6 laps I recovered many posizioni. is been a difficult weekend but we brought home important points. Now we look at Imola where I want to go back to the positions they belong to me.

Ondrej Jezek  69 (WSS; 9th): When I saw the first drops of rain on my visor I was to attack Gino Rea and Kyle Smith for the 6th position, then the red flag, and while I was returning to the pits a pool of water made me fall. The mechanics did a great job repairing the bike and making the setting for the wet, but in the first laps was sliding a lot. On the last lap I thought, “or overtake the group ahead now, or never” and so, before Ryde then Caricasulo and finally Stapleford and Gamarino together in the last chicane. It was a shame but for as had put the situation went really well..

Denis Sacchetti (Team Manager): What a day Guys, it’s Assen, beautiful, bastard and unpredictable! We have a team of true professionals and this makes me proud. We have coped to each unexpected, defeated the bad luck and on the change tires we were really fast … .as our riders, i congratulate personally with them for have run with great determination and intelligence ! I want also to thank all the staff, now close as never before and the the viewfinder is now pointed on imola!                                               Team Go Eleven
