ROUND 10 WSBK/WSS CHAMPIONSHIP – A 9th PLACE IN GERMANY WORTH GOLD

Unity is strength and in Germany the group work has paid off. Go Eleven has managed in resolving a difficult situation and Roman has centered a beautiful 9th place in World Superbike! In FP Roman has struggled a lot, his bike did not seem to digest the German track, but he and his team have not given up and were able to turn the weekend with two great results delighting the COMI guests that were present at the german round.

Go Eleven and its superbike have proven to be competitive also in the wet, centering once again in this season a wonderful top ten! Gamarino has never made friends with the Lausitzring, in difficulty in practices (FP and QP) is been able to lap very fast in the race, but without having a rhythm up for the position it deserves. The Supersport also sees the return of Jezek, after a forced stop of about four months, due to physical problems, has done an excellent job, has taken the feeling with his bike and is now ready to aim for a big season finale.

Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK Race 1; 13th): it was very hard because the weekend I could not ride well my bike, I had no feeling with the front and I struggled to hold the line, we worked hard to have a good bike and for that I must thank my team.

Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK Race 2; 9th): We started in dry conditions but it started to rain on the grid, my team has been able to change the set up with incredible speed and could have an advantage over others, but then the track was really in dangerous conditions and the race direction have choosed to come into the pits. It was important to maintain concentration throughout the race without making any mistakes, the track was very slippery and I am very happy for being competitive in the wet, we now have a good basis to be always fast.

Christian Gamarino 11 (WSS; 19th): I can not be happy with this result does not reflect my potential, here in Germany I could not ride my bike as i want, we changed many things but the result was always the same. I can not afford and do not want other races like this.

Ondrej Jezek 69 (WSS; rit): I had a great desire to get back on the bike and although the race it went wrong I’m happy because I’m back to doing what I love! This weekend was very hard, I worked hard on myself and on the bike, my team tried to help me and I believe we have laid the foundation to return to the top ten since Magny Cours. I retired because I had lost too much grip on the front, and it would be too risky to continue.

Denis Sacchetti (Team Manager): I am proud of all the guys that make up this great little team, in the past our sbk was not competitive in wet conditions but finally it is! As I have always said our goal is the top ten, on the grid there are at least 13 factory bikes and for a private team to arrive in 9th position means to have done better than those with important budget and facilities. The merit, in addition to people that every day make sacrifice really so much, is our rider Roman Ramos who is a great champion! Today Roman is perhaps one of the best promises of the superbike world championship and Go Eleven has the merit to have discovered it. The supersport lived a very strange weekend, we are struggling with two very different situations, but both very delicate. We will come out, as we always have!
