BITTER SWEET MAGNY COURS FOR GO ELEVEN

A weekend between sun, rain, cold and wet track, pilots had to drive under all conditions, having to be fast always! so, uncertain results until the last, have consecrated Jonathan Rea world champion for the third consecutive time. Roman Ramos is always more closer to the first positions and even in wet conditions his timing references are really good. He crashed during the superpole 1 while he is attacking the pole position and so the passing into Q2, the wet asphalt betrays him on the most beautiful one. The mechanics repaired the bike quick and in race1 he can impose a good rhythm on the race, winning the battle with De Rosa on the final. Sunday runs on dry track, and Roman is really fast, battling with Torres until the photofinish, when the two Spaniards had almost closed the gap on Sykes. A ninth place valorized by the final detachment, only 9 seconds from Melandri, finished fifth. Kazuki Watanabe surprising everyone in qualifying, the track is wet but he risks everything mounting the dry tires, in front of an incredulous public, he get the Q1 pole position and the 5th absolute time in Q2. A second row completed by fourth place of Gino Rea more fit than ever. Both riders in the second row make us dream for the race, because also their race pace was very good, but the Gino’s race ends before the start due to an electric problem in the alignment lap, while Kazuki slips to the curve 3, after only a few laps, trying to defend his top ten.

Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK race 1; 12th): “During the morning there have been many falls and I did not want to risk too much, I started trying to understand as better as possible the conditions and then I pushed a little bit more every lap and at the last i was fast as first riders. I felt good with the bike and I’m happy with this placement, but in particular I have to thank my team who did a great job of reconstructing the bike between qualifying and the race.”
Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK race 2; 9th): ” Started to dropping a few drops of rain on the starting grid, for a moment I thought to the “flag to flag”, then I realized that I had to think only to give the best from the start. I pushed right from the first lap but after 4 round the raindrops were stronger and for a couple of laps I did not take any risks, then I saw that the riders on the front continued to be fast, so then I tried to close my eyes and to do my best. I had a lot of fun, especially the fight and the exchange of overtakings with Torres, was been really exciting, it was a shame that we were unable to take Sykes.”

Kazuki Watanabe 26 (WSS race; rt): “I have to apologize to my team for the fall, I was out of line and the steering has closed, my mistake that I have paid, because today everything was perfect and we could really get into the top ten. Denis Sacchetti (Team Manager): “A weekend of joys and pains. Starting fourth and fifth in Supersport I would say that it is a beautiful confirmation of how the team is working, quality and union, and we are proud of this, but certainly the race did not reserve the same joy Roman in the race is a lion, and if he continues in this way, he will begin to make scare to many, not only because he struggles and puts behind some official and great teams, but because here in France he really came close to first positions, Sykes, Melandri … they were there. We are really happy for the growth of our SBK and we thank to all the guys who work with us in this ambitious project.”
